莎拉布莱曼这个照片俺可头回见着，味道不一样的小美人，她的眼珠子跟猫的眼珠子差不多。在下觉得她演绎的《斯卡波罗集市》配器方面比起原唱时髦不少，很能显出她的声音特色，全曲听来比起她跟刘欢合唱的《我和你》要强很多，觉得那首儿歌一般的作品实在难以承载百年奥运这样的大主题，也更难表达出全中国老百姓勒紧腰带办奥运的众志成城的民族情绪，说了也白说，莎姐欢歌早就拿上钞票拍屁股走人了，唉。还记得刘欢有一年来秦皇岛一个晚会献歌，唱完到后场的第一句话就是跟接待人员说：“税票！”，揣上税票就回北京，全然不理守候多时的记者和歌迷。可能大牌都这样，不过还是给我留下了不好的印象，铜臭味太重，当然这话不止是针对某个歌手说的，基本都他娘的一个逼味。

Scarborough Fair原是一首古老的苏格兰民间谜歌（riddle song），所谓“riddle song”是指那些民间流传广泛，但是不知道作者是谁的歌曲，而且由于人们的相互传唱，本来的曲调已经改变了很多。后来英国民歌手马汀·卡西（Martin Carthy）在原歌的基础上加进了自己的再创造（尤其是里面那优美的吉它伴奏），把它变成了一首非常优美的爱情歌曲。保罗曾于64－65年期间在英国度假，并经常出没于英国民谣圈演唱，学会这首歌后，重新谱写了词曲。
